Entrepreneurs in Malaysia, especially small and medium-sized business owners and those who have been affected by pandemic-related movement control orders, have been urged to seize opportunities in the growing franchise business, Bernama reported.
Zakaria Mohd Edris, chairman of franchising agency Perbadanan Nasional, said the country’s franchise industry has been growing since 2016 and is able to improve the economic situation of entrepreneurs who venture into the business.
“The potential of the franchise industry is huge as we can see this industry showing positive development from year to year,” he told the state-owned news agency.
