China-Laos Railway to Launch Friday: Global Times

The railway has 11 stations in China and 10 in Laos and the service will shorten travel time from Kunming to Vientiane from two days to just three hours

The China-Laos Railway, which is set to launch on Friday and connect Kunming in Yunnan province and Laos’ capital city Vientiane, will adopt entirely Chinese standards according to China Railway, Global Times reported.

The railway has 11 stations in China and 10 in Laos. The service will shorten travel time from two days to three hours.
