China-Laos Rail Delivers Economic Benefits – Xinhua

The 1,035-km railway connecting Kunming with Vientiane handled 670,000 passengers and 170,000 tonnes of cargo in its first month, the state paper said.

The China-Laos Railway has yielded fruitful outcomes in passenger and cargo transport since it launched operations a month ago, Xinhua reported.

Data show the 1,035-km railway, connecting Kunming with Vientiane, handled about 670,000 passengers and 170,000 tonnes of cargo within its first month.
