Myanmar will export 450-500 tonnes of coffee this coffee season, Global New Light of Myanmar reported, citing the Pyin-Oo-Lwin Township coffee research and technology centre.
Bean prices range between 4 million and 5 million kyats ($2,250-2,800) per tonne, according to Mee Mee Myint, deputy director of the centre. Myanmar exported about 100 tonnes in 2021.
