The electricity grid in Luzon, the Philippines’ most populous island, is facing thinning power reserves in the months leading up to national elections, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported.
Data showed that the supply margin for the period may fall between 575 megawatts (MW) and 641MW against the National Grid‘s recommended reserve margin of 1,200MW.
