A Chinese corn milling company’s purchase of land near to one of the US’s most sensitive air bases has sparked a nervous reaction in the States, according to a report by CNBC.

Fufeng Group, based in Shandong, China, has bought a 300-acre patch of farmland in North Dakota – just 20 minutes down the road from Grand Forks Air Force Base, said the report, which is home to some of the nation’s most sensitive military drone technology. Security experts say the move could give Chinese intelligence unprecedented access to the facility.
