AmCham Urges US, China To Improve Engagement – SCMP

The US lobby group said it is opposed to an outright decoupling of US-China relations

The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in China has called on Washington and Beijing to separate issues of national security and work to improve bilateral engagement while staying away from unproductive value-based positioning, the South China Morning Post reported, citing the latest white paper released by the US lobby group.

In the white paper, which outlines concerns and policy proposals for US firms operating in China, AmCham said it is opposed to an outright decoupling of US-China ties, the report said.
