Beijing Aid Props up China Logistics Sector – People’s Daily

China’s logistics sector is picking itself up again after a severe Covid-19 wave and the ensuing lockdowns that devastated the economy as the Chinese government steps up efforts to boost support for the sector, People’s Daily reported.

China’s logistics performance index, which tracks business volume, new orders, employment, inventory turnovers, and equipment utility rates in the sector, came in at 49.3% last month, up 5.5 percentage points from the previous month, the report said, citing data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP).
