Cambodia Drafts Development Plans – Phnom Penh Post

Plans require reskilling and upskilling of workers, development of electricity and logistics infrastructure and improvement of cost-competitiveness

The Cambodian government has drafted roadmaps for the development of the automotive and electronics sectors, to create more than 22,000 new jobs and raise exports past $2 billion over the next five years, The Phnom Penh Post reported.

The plans require reskilling and upskilling of workers, development of electricity and logistics infrastructure, improvement of cost-competitiveness in manufacturing and a more effective customs and trade facilitation regime.
