NASA is baffled by a mysterious double crater that has been sighted on the surface of the Moon, Forbes reported, with the US space research agency saying a human-made rocket slammed into the lunar surface on March 4.

China has denied claims that it was caused by a Long March 3 rocket that launched the country’s Chang’e-5 mission in October 2014, although the orbit matches. Experts have dismissed speculation it was a SpaceX rocket and fingers are now being pointed at Beijing.
