China Launches New Campaign to Purge Internet ‘Problems:’ SCMP


China has launched yet another nationwide campaign to purge problems in its internet industry, the South China Morning Post reports.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has begun a six-month campaign to address the “tough problems” of the internet industry, including disturbing market order, infringing users’ rights, threatening data security and unauthorised internet connections, it said in a notice published on its website on Monday. Full story: South China Morning Post.
