A Cambodian naval base being expanded with financial and technical assistance from Beijing will include a portion set aside for the exclusive use of the Chinese military, according to The Washington Post.

The Chinese and Cambodian governments had both previously denied reports that a Chinese military presence would be allowed at the Ream naval base on the Gulf of Thailand, it said.
