China Prosecutors Help With Unpaid Wage Claims – Xinhua

Courts handled 2,813 criminal cases of wage default involving 3,243 people, up 12.3% and 12% respectively year on year

Chinese prosecutors helped workers claim about 168 million yuan ($26.4 million) in unpaid wages in the first 11 months of 2021, Xinhua reported.

Courts handled 2,813 criminal cases of wage default involving 3,243 people, up 12.3% and 12%, respectively, year-on-year, according to the Supreme People’s Procuratorate (Prosecutor-General’s Office).
