China Remains Biggest Market for German Cars – Xinhua

European industrial giant’s exports of passenger cars to China increased by 14% year-on-year to 16.7 billion euros ($18.7 billion) last year

China remained the most important customer of Germany’s automotive industry in 2021, Xinhua reported, citing data from the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).

Germany’s exports of passenger cars to China increased by 14% year-on-year to 16.7 billion euros ($18.7 billion) last year, according to Destatis. Exports to the US were worth 15.9 billion euros.
