China is looking to advance the launch of its ambitious space solar power plant by two years, South China Morning Post reported, citing scientists involved with the project.
Beijing plans to launch a satellite in 2028 that will test wireless power transmission technology from space to the ground from an altitude of 400km, an updated plan in a paper published in peer-reviewed journal ‘Chinese Space Science and Technology’ said.
