China’s Fuling Gas Field Adds Reserves – Xinhua

The latest discovery brings total proven reserves of the gas field so far to nearly 900 billion cubic metres

The Fuling shale gas field near Chongqing has added some 104.8 billion cubic metres in proven reserves of shale gas, its developer Sinopec, China’s largest oil refiner, told Xinhua.

The latest discovery brings total proven reserves of the gas field so far to nearly 900 billion cubic metres, which accounts for 34% of the country’s proven reserves of shale gas.
