China’s defence chiefs are concerned that Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite network could power the US’s military domination of space, the People’s Liberation Army Daily reported.

“The ambition to militarise Starlink and its barbaric expansion deserve high alert from the international community,” the defence publication’s commentary said, adding that plans to increase the network to 42,000 satellites from 12,000 were an escalation.
