China is upgrading its military logistics supply system on the lines of the US military’s transport command (Transcom), the South China Morning Post reported, citing a report state-owned China Central Television uploaded on its WeChat social media account.
The report about the operations of the five logistic support centres of the People’s Liberation Army also puts the spotlight on Beijing’s investments to boost its logistics supply system, with the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war offering a wide range of points of reference.
