China’s November Box Office Posts Slight Gains: Xinhua

China’s cinema box-office returns in November ended with moderate revenue of 1.87 billion yuan (about $293.6 million), the lowest monthly gain of the year, Xinhua reported, citing data from the China Movie Data Information Network.

November is typically seen as a transit month linking the October National Day holiday and the year-end movie-going season, with few noticeable releases in China. The recent resurgence of Covid-19 cases also hampered monthly ticket sales.
