China’s WeChat Bans Accounts Trading in NFTs – SCMP

The move by the Tencent-owned site is in reaction to a government edict that bans speculation in NFTs and other digital assets, the Hong Kong paper said

WeChat, the Chinese social media platform, has banned secondary trading in non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the South China Morning Post reported.

The move by the Tencent-owned site is in reaction to a government edict that bans speculation in NFTs and other digital assets, the Hong Kong paper said.
