Diesel Causes 1 in 12 Child Asthma Cases – New Scientist

Researchers estimate that 1.85 million new childhood asthma cases in 2019 were linked with exposure to nitrogen dioxide (NO2), New Scientist reported.

NO2 is a toxic gas released by diesel vehicles and the incidence of related asthma cases is rising in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.
