With travel curbs lifted in Thailand, foreigners who want to live out their golden years surrounded by tropical greenery and sunny beaches, or who need quality assisted living, are resuming their plans to relocate to the country, the Straits Times in Singapore reported.

Expatriate retirees have long favoured provinces like Chiang Mai and Phuket, but their plans for relocation were disrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
