People come to Little Ongpin from as far away as Las Vegas for lumpia, steamed pork buns and beef caldereta, but few customers know the restaurant is in Historic Filipinotown, the Los Angeles Times reported.

That may soon change with the construction of an arch spanning Beverly Boulevard, its foundation inlaid with oyster shell windows in a nod to traditional homes in the Philippines.
