Germany to Ban China Purchase of Medical Group – Handelsblatt

Like Heyer, Aeonmed makes medical ventilators, which rose to global prominence during the Covid-19 pandemic

Germany’s federal government plans to announce on Wednesday that it will prohibit the sale of the 139-year-old Heyer Medical company to China’s Aeonmed Group, Handelsblatt reported.

Berlin would cite public safety reasons, it said. Like Heyer, Aeonmed makes medical ventilators, which rose to global prominence during the Covid-19 pandemic.
