Google Translate is no Longer Accessible in China – SCMP

Users attempting to access the service are now redirected to Google’s generic search bar, with a notice advertising Google Translate’s Hong Kong webpage, South China Morning Post said.

The US Google Translate app was unable to be accessed by internet users in mainland China on Saturday, the South China Morning Post reported.

Users attempting to connect to the service are now redirected to Google’s generic search bar, according to the report, with a notice advertising Google Translate’s Hong Kong webpage, which is users on the mainland could also not access.
