India May Be Cruising On Wrong Path In EV Transition – BS

EVs, especially e-two-wheelers, are expensive despite state subsidies, with much lower performance parameters than internal combustible engine vehicles, report says

In prioritising electric vehicles over charging networks, India may have followed the wrong path towards creating an EV ecosystem, perhaps delaying its adoption, the Business Standard reported.

Electric vehicles, especially e-two-wheelers, are expensive despite state subsidies, with much lower performance parameters than internal combustible engine vehicles, and public charging stations are sparse, it said.
