India Plans EV Charging Stations Along Highways: Mint

India is planning to make all its highways fully compliant with green norms, with charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) built at every wayside amenity, Mint reported.

Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari told Parliament that charging stations have been included as part of wayside amenities contracts being awarded by the state-run National Highways Authority of India, the report said.
