Supply constraints amid an ongoing semiconductor shortage hit sales at top Indian carmakers Maruti and Hyundai in December for the fourth consecutive month, Financial Express reported.

Production cuts announced by automakers in the middle of last year also contributed to fewer despatches, the report said.
