India’s imports of Russian oil have jumped more than 25-fold since the start of the war as purchases climbed to an average of 1 million barrels per day in June against 30,000 in February, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing Kpler data.
New Delhi’s current imports make up more than a quarter of Europe’s imports of Russia crude and related products, the report said, citing International Energy Agency data.
