India’s imports of Russian oil increased by 5.7 times in the July-August period compared with February and March, Nikkei Asia reported.
China’s imports of Russian oil climbed by 16% in the same period, said the report, which referred to data from the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air. Russia is now India’s second largest supplier of crude oil, it said, up from 10th place in 2021.
