Pakistan Hopes to Widen Retail Investor Base – Dawn

Pakistan hopes to widen retail capital markets participation by allowing accounts to be opened through bank portals or apps, the country’s central bank governor said, according to Dawn.

During a visit to the Central Depository Company, Reza Baqir said: “This is only the beginning of what our vision is for the development of Pakistan’s capital market.”
