Private equity investors are putting their money behind US celebrities, with the latest deal involving a $12 billion fund controlled by asset manager Azimut Group agreeing to buy a 10% stake in BroadLight Holdings, the Financial Times reported.

BroadLight’s co-founders include Rick Yorn, a talent agent, and his brother Kevin Yorn, an entertainment lawyer. They represent actors and entertainers including Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson, Leonardo DiCaprio and Chris Rock.
