Australian mining services group Perenti Global has signed a draft agreement with Japanese industrial giant Sumitomo to develop digital products to advance sustainable mining practices, The West Australian reported.

Perenti’s tech-driven products and services business Idoba will develop mining process optimisation and carbon footprint management tools focused on autonomy, remote operations and decarbonisation.
