Russian Oil Sold to Fuel-Starved Sri Lanka – Nikkei Asia

Sri Lanka, battling the worst economic crisis in its history, is turning to Russian oil because it is cheaper, Nikkei Asia reports.

Colombo will pay $72 million for 90,000 tonnes of Russian oil ordered via a Dubai-based company that has been docked at the capital’s port for weeks, Nikkei said.
