Business optimism has receded among firms in the manufacturing and service sectors amid Covid-19 variants and supply chain pressures, the Straits Times reported.
A net weighted balance of 8% of manufacturers expect better business conditions in the first six months of this year, the report said, citing a survey by the Economic Development Board. This is a drop from the 16% in the earlier poll in October.
