Singapore Sees Jump in Cost of Hiring Foreign Labour: ST

The cost of hiring foreign workers has shot up dramatically for construction companies in Singapore, the Straits Times reported.

In some cases, companies are paying up to five times what they paid a few months ago when the workers could fly in via quarantine-free vaccinated travel lanes (VTLs), the report added.
