Singapore’s GIC in JV to Acquire Office Space in Australia: ST

Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC and Australian developer Charter Hall have set up a joint venture to acquire the 50 Marcus Clarke office building in Canberra, the Australian capital, for A$335 million, the Straits Times reported.

The commercial building is situated in Canberra’s Central Business District and has a net leasable area of 40,000 square metres, the report said.
