South Korean Online Shopping Grows 21% – JoongAng Daily

According to Statistics Korea, online purchases totalled 192.9 trillion won ($160 billion) in 2021, up 21% from the year before

Online purchases in South Korea hit another record last year thanks to the pandemic and greater reliance on meal and grocery deliveries, JoongAng Daily reported.

According to Statistics Korea, online purchases totalled 192.9 trillion won ($160 billion) in 2021, up 21% from the year before. Purchases on mobile devices broke a record at 138.2 trillion won, up 27.6%.
