A special freight train started operation on Wednesday to stabilise the Mainland’s supply of goods to Hong Kong amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Xinhua reported.

Cranes loaded containers on to the train at Pinghu South Railway Station in Shenzhen in southern China’s Guangdong province.
