A host of new startups is fuelling India’s electric two-wheeler boom as demand outstrips supply, Business Standard reported.

Electric two-wheeler makers Ather Energy, Boom Motors, Bounce, Greaves Cotton and Simple Energy are powering India’s shift towards clean energy-driven mobility. The sector is led by Hero Electric, whose sales in April-November topped 50,000 units.
