Swiss Embassy Posts Criticism on Weibo – NZZ

The Swiss embassy posted on Twitter and the Chinese counterpart Weibo about lawyer Tang Jitian, who has been missing for over two months

It doesn’t often happen that Switzerland publicly advocates human rights in China. But with the Winter Olympics in full swing, the Swiss embassy in Beijing did just that, Neue Zürcher Zeitung reported.

The embassy posted on Twitter and the Chinese counterpart Weibo the case of human rights lawyer Tang Jitian, who has been missing for over two months. The post was deleted on Weibo within 24 hours.
