Taiwan Raids Chinese Tech Firms Over Poaching – Nikkei Asia

The Justice ministry dispatched more than 100 investigators to search 14 locations in Taipei, Taoyuan and Taichung, as well as Hsinchu

Taiwan authorities on Wednesday raided eight Chinese chip and component suppliers in an investigation into allegations of illegally poaching Taiwanese workers, Nikkei Asia reported.

The justice ministry sent at least 100 investigators to search 14 facilities in Taipei, Taoyuan and Taichung, as well as Hsinchu, the hub of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry.
