Tata Motors Plans EV For Last-Mile E-Commerce Deliveries: BS

The automaker is working with e-commerce companies to gather details on the required range and performance metrics, the report said

India’s leading automaker Tata Motors is planning to launch an electric vehicle in the last-mile delivery segment, Business Standard reported.

The automaker is working with e-commerce companies to gather details on the required range and performance metrics, the report said, citing Girish Wagh, executive director of Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle business unit.

Tata Motors is also working on pure electric platform for the cargo segment, Wagh said in the report.
