UAE Urges Higher Profile for Bangladesh – Dhaka Post

The head of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) embassy in Bangladesh has urged the country to set up a pavilion in Dubai’s Global Village to promote trade and tourism, the Dhaka Post reported.

The UAE is a major labour market for Bangladesh construction workers, but Abdulla Ali Al Hmoudi, chargé d’affaires, said the number of Bangladeshis in respectable professions, including engineers, doctors and nurses, is increasing.
