US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Visit Taiwan in August

Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the US House of Representatives, plans to visit Taiwan in August, the Financial Times reported, citing six people familiar with the matter.

Pelosi’s visit will be the first by a Speaker of the US House of Representatives in 25 years, but there were divisions within the US administration, the report quoted two people as saying.
